Wyatt R. Evans, PhD, ABPP

Dr. Wyatt Evans is a board certified psychologist in North Texas, staff psychologist and associate training director for the VA North Texas Health Care System, and assistant professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is also a clinical psychologist for the U.S. Army Reserve. Dr. Evans' area of clinical and research expertise is posttraumatic stress including the treatment of PTSD and other forms of distress that can arise following traumatic stressors. Among these issues, Dr. Evans specializes in moral injury and has published several peer-reviewed articles on the topic along with an experiential workbook, The Moral Injury WorkbookDr. Evans has served in leadership postions in the American Psychological Association's Divisions for Military and Trauma Psychology, the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science including the ACT for Military and VA ACT SIGs, and is the founder of the Moral Injury SIG for the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.
